Chia seeds if you don’t already know provide so many amazing health benefits like having more omega 3’s than salmon, more potassium than bananas, more calcium than milk, and are loaded with antioxidants. They’re a complete protein and, unlike flaxseeds, they are very shelf stable and not prone to going rancidin your pantry. They also can absorb more than 12 times their weight in water/liquid.

What you want to do is to start with your favorite organic juice, I used an Organic Blueberry Pomegranate juice. OR if you have a juicer, juice your favorite juice blend. You’re going to need about 2 to 3 cups of juice.
Next you’re going to need some Chia seeds Chia seeds come in a variety of different colors I just happen to have black and white Chia seeds on hand.
So, my magic ratio of seed to liquid is 1/4 cup of seed per 1 cup of liquid.
Ok so you’ve got all your ingredients?
Ok perfect! :-) now toss the juice and chia seeds in a blender and blend on low/medium for 30 seconds or until mixed. (You can also toss in some fresh or frozen fruit or berries at this time).
