When we look externally for approval and self-love and those relationships change, we are often left feeling sad and alone. When we begin to look within for self-approval, self-acceptance, and self-love, now that is where magic takes place. You begin to realize that other relationships in your life enhance your world, they don't make it. You are able to let go of relationships that no longer serve you and welcome in ones that do. Not only does it feel better when you begin to love yourself, but you also begin to attract people in your life who are also whole and complete. All of your relationships become healthier and more loving.
Moving forward, I invite you to love yourself more by:
Writing down 5-10 things that you like about yourself; it can be anything from you are kind, to you have a beautiful smile, they just need to be things that you like about yourself. Read the list when you have moments of doubt. Your list could also include things family and friends have said they admire about you too.
Beginning to affirm you deserve to be happy, healthy, peaceful, and abundant as there isn't anyone like you - YOU MATTER!
Being gentle with you as loving yourself doesn't happen overnight. Start with getting along with yourself as you are your biggest critic. Then move to liking yourself and as you focus on what you like about yourself, love will grow.
Mostly, I wish for you to love your quirks, your humor, and everything about you as there is nobody else like you. You are worthy of great love and that love starts with loving you.
Until next time, who loves ya baby?
